Why tallow

The oldest skincare there is.

Rendered animal fat sat on human skin for thousands of years before it was replaced — not because it stopped working, but because water, emulsifiers and a preservative system are cheaper to ship and easier to scale.

We went back. One fat, sourced properly, with as little standing between it and your skin as we could manage.

  • 01 / Cleanse

    Start with clean, dry skin. Tallow goes furthest on a surface that has nothing else on it.

  • 02 / Warm

    Scoop a pea-size amount and work it between your fingers until it turns to oil.

  • 03 / Press

    Press it in rather than rubbing. Less than you think — a 2 oz jar lasts most people months.
